Lowell CCJ

Hello forum newbie here not sure if I'm posting in the right thread but was hoping to seek some advice. We had a CCBC letter on behalf of lowell, life being life it was completely forgot about until the last day before the deadline which was 29th may. So I rang CCBC who advised me to send the response form for a payment plan to lowell via email no problem. I rang lowell they seem helpful said it would not be a problem setting up a payment plan over the phone this was done on the 28th may the deadline for response to the original CCBC letter was 29th may. Sorted just in time right, no. Today I received a letter from lowell dated the 28th saying they are pursuing the CCJ as a response was not submitted in time. Any advice or more info needed many thanks in advance.
