Limtation Act on money owed

Has anyone successfully recovered a debt from an individual they have lent money after the six year time barred period , does communiccation from the person who owes you the money , in my case £4000,affect the time bar can i higher court adjudicate in such a case , i realise i have a very slim to zero chance of seeing my money again but any advice would be appreciated

If the communication from the borrower is before the 6 years (5 years in Scotland) and admits that the money is owed to you then the 6 year clock is reset at that point. Does that help?

Not sure what you mean by this.
If it's a simple money claim, imho the 'Small Claims' track (up to £10,000) would most likely be allocated. (Presuming of course it's not SB)
