Does anyone know law on debt management companies asking for access to bank statements is this common practice ?

I have never been asked to supply this information before ?

Are you not protected by some bank / privacy law ?

Hi,

Normally the debt manager would need to perform financial statement on you. Just saying that this is my income and outgoings isnt enough. they need to see bank statements backing your financial circumstance.

But it is totally upto you.
