    DMP and partial settlements

    Hello

    I have been on a DMP for 4 years almost and am now in a position to pay off my debts via a partial settlement.

    I understand the implications of doing so and I have contacted my creditors. Some have agreed to a discount but two so far wont discuss it with me only with stepchange.

    Is this normal practice?

    Is it better to let stepchange negotiate?
