Lots of things- I filed complaints to Action Fraud, the FCA, lodged a complaint with Barclays- who ruled in my favour, I spoke to a lawyer friend who helped me write a very strong worded letter, basically they surrended after I hit them on multiple fronts all at once. They sent me a [seudo non apology letter which had a cheque for the money taken from me in September. I also had the help of a journalist from BBC radio 4 who is investigating these companies on behalf of the You and Yours programme.

I'm willing to put people in touch with the Journalist actually, he's looking to confront them, but I'd need to chat to him first, last time we chatted was before Xmas, there's udoubtedly been quite a few people who have been snared by them

In such situations is very important to know your rights and only by consulting high qualified lawers like the specialists in this company you can protect yourself the best way. Stay safe and avoid taking debts.
Are you certain that a firm in Connecticut will help a UK person?
