This one should be easy I hope.

This is for charges on the account late payment fees £ 50 odd pounds. Not mine on behalf of my eldest daughter.

Letter asking for charges back will be sent tomorrow.

Time to get this sorted out daughter received the standard letter re their charges are fair etc and they will not refund so have updated the spreadsheet as there was yet more charges added, would appreciate a bit of advice on the following LBA.


I have previously written to ask you to refund to me the administration charges which you have added to my account over the last year. This Letter was dated 29/06/2008

I have recently discovered that these charges are unlawful at Common Law & Statute. This is further reinforced by the Office of Fair Trading report of 05/04/06 which concluded that these charges are unfair to the consumer. If you believe that they are not penalties, then will you please demonstrate this by giving me a full breakdown of the costs you have incurred as a result of my breaches, in order to prove to me that your penalties really do reflect your actual losses.

I calculate that you have charged me£88.00 I have enclosed an updated schedule of charges less the £10.00 you refunded as per your letter dated 03/07/2008 Therefore the total I am requesting at this stage is £78.00.

Please be notified that if I do not receive a full refund as requested within 14 days, I shall commence a County Court claim against you.

could someone please check my LBA to littlewoods for me as I feel I have missed something but don't know what, heads a bit all over the place at the moment sorry to be a pain.
