  • Notice of sums in arrears - hoist portfolio holding 2 ltd

    Hi.
out of the blue, I've received a letter from hoist portfolio stating that it has come to their attention that for a period of time I was not provided with certain documents in relation to "my" account. They've enclosed notices of sums in arrears dated from 2010 to 1.3.2015 - they are all issued with a date of 23.10.15.

havent got a clue what this is about! The alleged debt is for £3016.04 - for what, I don't know!!

    can anyone help, please?

    thanks

Re: Notice of sums in arrears - hoist portfolio holding 2 ltd

Are these under 86(e) CCA 1974

If they are Hoist are trying to cover their buts in that no interest or charges should have been applied to your account since 2010

It would mean the assignment from the original creditor is defunked to hoist

Any chance of taking a picture or scan of the letter minus personal details and posting it onto your thread

Seems the first port of call is sending a "Prove it" Letter to hoist as to the alleged account
