Hi Friends,

I have something happy to share with you.
I did receive an email response from Welsh Water.
They have reassessed my case and written off the old bill and generated a new bill based on average consumption of water for two people for the period starting from April 2013 till Aug 2014. (Sep 2012 - Mar 2013 is not calculated)
For this period they say the water charges are around 760£ and because of the stress this has given me and as a gesture of goodwill they have reduced this amount further and given me a bill of 554£ to be paid in 8 instalments.

I am happy to pay this amount because it is for the amount of water which I genuinely consumed in two years.

Thanks Kate and everyone else who have been advising and helping me out here.

Also, they have said that they have informed the Wescot guys to remove my file from their records with immediate effect. hey!!
