Hi All,
I am not too sure which section this post should go into - so apologies.
So I ran an experian credit check, as I saw their free 30 day trial, and I come across an outstanding orange bill for £17 from a few years ago. Having looked back through some documents, this was a final bill - I believe when I left orange, they did not take the final amount from my account [it should have gone via direct debit, but will have to dig deeper to confirm this!]
I guess the figure is too small for them to use a debt collection agency but nonetheless I want to settle this bill as it is a mark on my credit file.
The issue is Orange, no longer exists as an outright [now EE]; so who/how should I approach this, to pay the outstanding bill and have my credit report updated?
As always, the help of individuals on this forum is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
JohnBob
