Hi I have received a letter from Buchanan Clark and Wells for a debt with eon that I am fully aware of. I phoned then this afternoon to settle a payment plan of £20 a month which is all I can afford at the moment as I am not working. The man on the phone said he wanted all of mine and my partners income (it's my debt not his) and he has said that he will not settle for less than two payments of £227.91 and he would not accept my offer of £20 a month. Can they do this? Surely it's better to take this than nothing?
