    Hi all,
Im new to here so hopefully posting in the right place! Here's my dilemma...I had an old debt which was definitely over 6 years old, and I think it was for a Barclaycard! I can't remember and have no idea how much I've paid so I thought I'd try and find out.
I have looked for them on the net but all I find is forums and info saying their licence is revoked but still they're taking my money. It's only £20pm as I told them I couldn't give any more.
The only reason I said I'd start paying is because they were writing to my ex's house who is the mother of my children, and threatening to come in and take goods from the house. Naturally she was worried so I contacted them saying I no longer lived there and at the time had no real fixed abode and that I had no possessions there of my own. Their response was that this was the address they had for me which meant they could come in and take whatever they wanted.
As it happens I am self employed and this month didn't get paid and their dd bounced so it prompted me to see where my account was at with them. I cannot see anywhere online to find out, only a lot of complaints about them and the fact their licence isn't getting renewed?
I have now cancelled the dd as i figure they"ll soon be in touch...any advice about these people would be greatly welcomed! Thanks in advance to anybody who can help me here!

Can you tell us the name of the DCA you have googled and found their licence has been revoked?

Have the got judgment against you (a CCJ)? They can't just go and take goods from anyone's house, even your own, they need a court order to send bailiffs round and they can only obtain one once they've obtained judgment. WHO are the DCA threatening this? :scared::scared::scared: No wonder their licence was revoked! :mad2: :mad2:

WELL DONE! :thumb: Why keep paying them if they haven't even got a license? Do tell us who they are and if you hear from them again, do post up. :typing:
