I've just received a statement from Aktiv Kapital for the period 22/03/2013 - 21/03/2014 showing a balance of £645.

This is the first time I've heard anything in relation to this amount, they don't tell me who the debt is from all they give me is some reference number.

As all they've sent you is a statement, I'd ignore that letter and wait to see if they write to you again. If they do post up here. :typing:

Sounds like it's "Statement Time" for AK, I also received a statement from them recently, only I do know what it's for, it's for a debt where they agreed to settle for a reduced amount, years ago, then decided to pursue me for the rest. :mad2: :mad2: :mad2: It's a small amount and likely statute barred by now but they are the only ones (of my defaulted accounts) to have sent a statement in years!
