  • A wonderful range of Payday Loans and Debt Collection Agencies.....

    Hello!

Back in 2012, I did the silly thing of Payday Loans and took out more to pay existing etc I set up repayment plans with most but a few were just ignoring me; Lending Stream but 2 added crazy fees that I refused to pay - 247 Moneybox and Monkey Dosh. Never heard off any of them at all until recently.....

I had 3 loans with Lending Stream, I paid one off but they ignored all correspondence on my other 2. I saw them on my credit file but they never chased me for the debt or harassed me. January 2014, Credit Resource Solutions sent me an email to say they had received the debt and it needed paying - which it did. I must say I had a very good experience with them. I repaid both loans back which originally totalled £598 and I paid £250 with both accounts closed. All done by email.

2 weeks ago 247 Moneybox got in contact to say I owed £207. I keep all correspondence so went back through it all and I set up a repayment plan with them at the time so I was puzzled how I owed this. I asked for a breakdown which detailed of £54 missed repayment, £30 for 3 letters, £20 default and £103 interest. I paid the £54 and basically told them to bog off for the rest of it - again I haven't heard anything since. Horrid horrid company to deal with. I had a huge argument back in 2012 when I first detailed as he accused me of being a fraud and all sorts.

Now, Monkey dosh has sold me account according to texts and automated voice message to MMF. I have never heard of these and doing my research it seems they are possibly the worst to deal with. After going through correspondence it seems I disputed the amount I owed as I said it was £312 and they seem to make it more £500 due to adding 5% interest every month. I want to get it paid so I am thinking about ringing them and doing a deal.

I guess my point is...are these companies all interlinked somehow? it seems strange I hear nothing for years and then I pay 1 off and the others within weeks come calling or do they keep tabs on peoples credit files?
