Hi guys recieved a letter of fredricksons this morning which reads despite a recent letter from bryan carter solicitors it appears you have not discharged your debt with our client lowell financial. we are to offer you one final oppurtunity to pay before recommending to our client that they instruct solicitors to issue a claim at my address.
at this stage and as a gesture of goodwill we are prepared to accept a full and final settlement on this account provided that you contact us on 08453136614 within 48hrs of reciept of this letter.

please note if lowell financial has registered a default on your credit file and you pay a final settlement the default will be amended to reflect that it as been partially settled , a partial settlement flag may affect any future credit applications you make, as lenders have access to this information and may tke it into consideration.
then the letter carry's on telling me about payment methods etc .

Is this letter the letter before action or is it more polony and they know they have no chance of enforcing anything on this debt , i have sent the cca request is there anything else to do , or am i getting myself worked up over nothing . thanks

Hi guys had a reply of the SB letter i sent it goes along the lines of thanks for my complaint there compliance team will do an investigation and get back to me within 2 weeks , is this just a standard response
