    Car finance with welcome

    welcome are driving me insane, i took car finance out with them in 2007 due to personnal circumstances i defaulted in 2009 then i was chased by dlc for the debt which i arranged to pay them £10.00 a month, then there was a mix up with the bank and the payments stopped so i have written to them a number of times but no reply... recently the car i have on finance has decided to die on me and isn't repairable (the timing belt took the engine out) so the car has to be scrapped so i have written to welcome to advise themof this and to get permission to scrap the car but have never received a reply, so i don't know what to do advice please..

    Scrap the car send get the cheque for £18 or so made out to welcome and send it to them . There's not a lot you can do tell them in writing that the car has been scrapped use pboth your agreement number and your customer number on the letter .
