Yes, Lizzy's one of the mystical Cabot fan Club, but struggles like me on techi legal stuff, but I get copy emails, but, I'm a scarce commodity at present and she needs help - I'm sure she'll be back on here shortly but she's working and it's difficult to get some things over on the forum. It's nothing personal FP..

    Thanks

Hi Flaming Parrot - Sorry I copied Andrew1 the order wasn't sure how to upload it on here...

I've done the AQ form by email / electronically. But sent a postal version too - so that'll arrive by Saturday/Mondays post. It should be within good time as it says within 7 days of service - so they allow for postage? (It Arrived yesterday).

Still had no CCA or SAR arrive........

That's OK, it can only work in your favour, :thumb: in particular, non-response to your CCA request.

Re: Next/lowells/bryan carter court claim issued

I have been meaning to post about my Bryan Carter/ Lowells claim/case earlier in the year - as it got very interesting indeed....

I posted a defence to court whilst awaiting the CCA/CPR 31.14 stuff and BC/ Lowells (on behalf of next) then sent me a tomlin order - I wrote back and agreed a much lower settlement figure to BC/Lowells in reply to their tomlin order - they agreed to the lower amount that I offered... they drew the tomlin order up and I signed it and sent it back to them and was willing to settle with them. I waited and waited to hear from Lowells with their signed agreement to settle etc.. and I heard nothing for months (and we don't poke sleeping bears with sticks do we? )
Then I heard off my local court saying the case has been allocated locally = this was fine I would have just told court I had already agreed a sum by Tomlin Order and was awaiting BC/ Lowells to do their bit in agreement to settle etc... - then I got a letter off local court saying to mediate and a 6 week period to do so etc...(I did nothing cause the Tomlin had already been signed by myself and it was BC/ Lowells dragging their feet), I still heard nothing off BC/Lowells..... then court gave them and order with the timescale to pay the fees due or be struck out.... - BC/Lowells then wrote to me saying they were no longer dealing with the claim it was sent back to Lowells/Next.... and I heard nothing since from them or court..... looks like the case/claim has been struck out? So I am not sure what happens now over that one at all. Seems a whole waste of time and money to me. The mind boggles???????
