In July 2012, I joined this site following written correspondence from Lowell 1 Portfolio Ltd beginning in 2011 whereby Lowell purchased a an alleged debt from a Mobile Phone Service Provider claiming early termination and unpaid rental fee's despite no written contracts being in place.
I received numerous correspondence from various debt collection agencies & had the misfortune to experience three uninvited visits at my home whereby the last visit resulted in the Police being contacted by me as the representative refused to provide any ID but insisted he was acting on behalf of Lowell.
Following this incident, all personal contact ceased save for letters which mostly all were replied to, stating my reasons and that I dispute their claims including my requesting a meeting of both parties in an effort to resolve this dispute. I recently received notice from Lowell's solicitors, Messer's Bryan Carter LLP of intended County Court action which I duly received from Northampton.
The Courts allow 28 days to file a defence and before this deadline expired, I was contacted by the above solicitor demanding I explain my defence or as to if I've instructed solicitors. Following a polite discussion, I reported the matter again to the Police under Harassment, which is a criminal offence if proven. I have taken other action besides however, I recently received written confirmation from Lowell that their claim has now been discontinued.
My conclusion is I assume that Lowell failed in the first instance to investigate the nature of this dispute between the Mobile Phone Service Provider & myself, used ruthless methods in the hope of wearing me down whereby it would simply be the lesser of two evils to pay rather then continue suffering the inconvenience of the bombardment of threats to which even their acting solicitor willingly participated!
I now have all the necessary documentation and remain unsure as to if I would be breaking any laws or risking litigation if I was to make all documents relating to this subject public?
Can anyone advise me please? I will be submitting full disclosure to my local Member of Parliament in due course...
Thank you..
