        i did do that about 3 mths ago it was clean however this fraud happened two years ago .why its not on there is strange

          It is slightly odd - asking for a quote online usually generates a credit check.

            If this matter has been reported to Action Fraud, the matter is now in the system and, strictly speaking, if Lowells have been told this and given the crime reference number, they should not be behaving as they are. The "Prove It" letter is sound advice. Lowells' arguments would not, in my honest opinion, stand up to strict proof, let alone, cross-examination in a court of law.

            As the matter is now with the police, I would be inclined to let them know about Lowells' involvement. If they see the need, they can ask Lowells for a statement and, you never know, they may ask them to explain why they think you owe them money. It will make Lowells jumpy, if nothing else.

              Heard back from lowells today stating that they didnt have any copy of the alleged insurance policy in my name and i will now have to prove that i wasn't living at the address in question at the time the fraud took place which was over 2 and half years ago is it really down to me to have to prove my inocence i'm guessing if i don't they will just put it on my credit report anyway iv'e been to the police over this and have been given a crime number lowells just are not having it and their refusing to give me any infor on the case because of data proctection ???????????????
