  • Welcome finance car loan , now Mackenzie hall hounding me please help

Hi everyone , I was looking for some advice. Back in 2006 i took out a car loan on a rover 75 the car was on the forecourt at around £4500. This was to be the first car I had ever purchased . Anyway not knowing anything about car finance I unwittingly agreed to take the car on finance , I was told in order to secure the car i would need to take out PPI, breakdown insurance and all the bells and whistles. So I did just that. 2 months after taking out the car loan I lost my job and that's when the problems really started. To cut a long story short welcome finance put in a default notice in 2009 and have been hounding me ever since, i have been ignoring them completely and have not acknowledged the debt since then because i believe the ppi makes up about £6000 (including interest on all those bits ) of it and i have already paid £3500. I just want some advice please, I want to get my hands on all the documentation i signed when taking out this loan but I have no idea where to start. please help
