Hi I owe T-Mobile 670 (with their added fees the total is something like 805 pounds) pounds. They have sent the debt to Bryan Carter Solicitors and they have said that if I don't contact Freidrickson International by today they will be giving me a CCJ (the debt hasn't yet been formally assigned to them) I have heard that Bryan Carter Solicitors are very quick to issue CCJ's. What should I do? Call Friedrickson International and arrange a payment plan or should I just ignore? Please help as this has been making me stay awake at night. I feel like committing suicide.

Re: Bryan Carter CCJ Need Help Urgently PLEASE!
Don't panic! It may sound like a lot of money, but there are lots of us who owe much more than that! (£15k in my case, some up to 10x as much! :scared
They can't just 'give you a CCJ', they'll have to issue a claim, which you would have the opportunity to defend or make a settlement offer for, before it goes to court. :juge:
The debt wouldn't be assigned to Bryan Carter, they are a firm of solicitors, not debt purchasers, and just act on behalf of their clients.
You shouldn't call anyone, :nono: if they ring you, don't go through security and hang up. Keep everything in writing. :typing:
As this is a mobile contract, it wouldn't fall under the CCA so you can't dispute it on those basis, however, you may want to dispute the amount and make an offer to repay what you legitimately owe.
If you think you owe the money, you could make a repayment offer, but it should be made in writing (not over the phone) and at a monthly level you can comfortably afford. :thumb:
