What should i do, send a copy of that letter you attached?
Actually, our usernames are the ones in large, blue font (orange for VIP subscribers). "Border Collie" and similar designations are dependent on post count. As an example, my username is FlamingParrot and I'm an "Alsatian". :nerd:

Probably not necessary if you've already sent it recorded and got a response as you say below:

It is against the OFT Debt Collection Guidance to mislead the consumer with regards to debts being SBd:

        Statute barred debt:

businesses should not use unfair methods (including misrepresenting the legal position) if seeking to recover statute barred debt
You may want to look at this thread if you haven't already done so: http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...ghlight=lowell :thumb:

Which makes you wonder what Lowells have got on the politicians and civil servants.

There must be someone or many in authority who are protecting Lowell and all the other rogue DCAs together with the bailiffs operating under their own rules with blatant disregard for the law civil or criminal.
A change is long overdue this we all agree on but when is the big question and who is going to do it?
Law of consequences, Wales. What goes around, comes around. Putting it bluntly, you only get away with it for so long before it comes back and bites you on the bum hard.

Don't forget that a certain High Street bank is under investigation for loan fraud. And who is to say that Lowells haven't been used to enforce or collect any of those fraudulent loans? If they have, they will have to answer some very direct questions and have their accounts gone over with a fine toothcomb.

It is better than evens that some of those loans have indeed gone to Lowells.......

Bluebottle I wish I could see the parasitic scum brought to justice for the behaviour of their greedy bloodsucking management and their pre pubescent threat monkeys. Unfortunately we live in the real world where the greedy bankers and their illegitimate and incestuous cousins in DCA land seem to be immune from prosecution. I have waited many years to see them punished but time and time again they lie their way out of it.

With an investigation into fraudulent transactions, like fraudulent loans, there will be a trail or trails of some description, whether they be electronic or tangible. Victims of these fraudulent loans will be interviewed and if they have received ANY debt collection letters from ANY DCA, including Lowells, those DCAs can expect to be subjected to a detailed investigation. What would be the icing on the cake and justice for Lowells' victims is if a POCA order was issued to recover monies obtained from victims from Lowells' assets and funds.

As you will know, ODC, fraud takes time to investigate. One I was involved with took two years to investigate, at the end of which we ended up with 100 defendants and traced £2 million that had gone missing from the public purse. Unfortunately, POCA wasn't around then, but there were other ways of recovering what had been defrauded. It may be some time coming, but I am of the opinion those who have cheated the public are going to see justice exacted on them, though, that justice may not necessarily involve them doing time in one of H.M. Holiday Camps.

Hey BB - I've been good. I've resisted my line of flying pigs.

As you know I wish I could agree with you on this, but in my opinion, nothing will happen.

Incidentally, have you seen the interview between Jeremy Paxman and Russell Brand on You Tube - you'd like it!

I'll get this moved to the debt section where it should rightly be. :beagle:
