Can Lowell have access to other accounts with oc??

Can Lowell's access other accounts I have with the oc or only get information on the account they have purchased?

Also if I were to put in a ppi claim to oc but do not specify account details, would this be an acknowledgment on a debt and reset sb clock even if I haven't specified account details.

They can only get information on any accounts they have purchased, however, if your OC sold one account to Lowell they may well also sell the others to them at some point.

You wouldn't be able to reclaim PPI without providing details about the account in question. This is a subject that has been much discussed without absolute agreement but it could constitute acknowledgment. Furthermore, if there's an outstanding balance, any redress will very likely go towards the debt rather than in your pocket. Hi, no it's a different one to the one above! Lowell purchased this account from Barclay card in 2010 (I think anyway as that is when Barclays marked as satisfied with cra's) but they have never pursued it in anyway. They might have years ago but I don't have any correspondence from them .
Ihence the reason I was considering a ppi claim, I was thinking of sending a cca request to Barclays to see if they have the original agreement, it was opened pre 2007.

If Lowell have bought the account, the CCA request should go to them, they have the duty to obtain the documents from Barclays, who may not be able to provide anything. However, if they are not pursuing you, probably best to let sleeping dogs snooze away.

Why are you thinking of sending a CCA request to Barclays for a PPI claim? Normally you'd send a SAR to get all the historical data such as statements, showing the PPI payments. In theory, a SAR should also return a copy of your agreement, if available.

No not for ppi, it was just out of curiosity to see if they even have a copy of it as I'm surprised lowell have not pursued it.

But to be honest I will just leave it, just incase I open another can of worms!
