    Hi guys if anyone could help that would be great, i owed a old debt to lloyds back in 05 in 07 i stopped paying its a cc debt of 2977 i may of mafe payments to it in 09. I havent paid since. Lloyds sold my debt to capquest in sep then i had a letter off optima legal last week saying i have to contact them by the 15th or they will start legal action. I wrote to capquest on fri they would of got the letter today. It was a cca letter. But i need to contact optima by tomorrow its to late to send a letter. So if i call them what do i say?? Can anyone help cheers guys

    I would firstly advise to keep everything in writing and advise them that a CCA request was sent to Capquest on (date) and until they answer it and fully comply you have nothing to say to them. The debt won't be statute barred but Capquest may not be able to provide you with the documentation to prove that they have the right to chase this debt. What ever you do, do not sign any letters with your true signature as they have been known to recreate documents.

      Thank you for your advice, i needed to contact optima legal by the 15th but if i write to them it wont get to them till 16th/17th wont they issue legal action?? I did sign the cca letter but on a anti tamper stamp
