I have received the same email this morning. I have contacted their director to complain, I do not have and have never had a load with these sharks.

I think its disgusting and hopefully they will get a hefty fine for doing this if enough people complain?. Where have they got all of our emails and names from?. I am guessing its maybe a very bad marketing tactic in the hope we ring up they say sorry and try to get us to take out a loan at 1million%, or they are just complete idiots, or maybe its both.

The directors email is aking@quickquid.co.uk (Alex King) I see no reason now to share his email here, specially when he is freely emailing us threatening emails for no reason.

Who are the correct people to complain about this, is it? FS, FOS and the OFT?

All these companies should be banned, they do not have a place in our country. If people get refused at banks etc for a small loan, then its because the banks know they can not afford it. If they can not afford a loan under 20% how can a loan at over 1000% be afforded?. They are simply preying on people in very bad situations by the looks of it.

I never have and never would take out any sort of payday loan - however, I have received this email today:

Extended Repayment Plan Available: Prevent Sale To 3rd Party Collectors

Dear Qpips,
Customer ID: 1****4Unless payment is made on your loan by 2 August 2013 it may be sold to a third party collection agency.

To help you prevent this transfer your defaulted loan balance has been referred to the QuickQuid Final Resolution Department.

Please contact our Final Resolution Department between 08:00 and 21:00 Mon - Fri at 0800 016 3114 to accept this offer or to learn about other options available. What worries me is how have they got my correct details??

Hi... I have quite literally received a carbon copy of this email this morning with the exact repayment date, my own personal email address and also an allocated customer reference number. As I had misplaced a bank card in the past week or so I thought that someone had somehow managed to use it fraudulently (I hadn't reported it lost or stolen before today as I assumed it was around the house somewhere). I had been trying to contact the company for over an hour and could only get dead air as well as a "can not connect" automated message for one of the numbers in an American accent. I finally managed to get my bank as soon as they opened and they assured me there had been no activity on my card etc and through online banking for my other two accounts I could tell nothing was amiss. My bank advised me that it could be a scam and not to give out any details over the phone if they are in contact again or if I continue to contact them to resolve the issue.

I think the fact I had an allocated CRN is what freaked me out; I found this post using a Google search to see if there were any Quickquid scams flagged previously and specifically set up an account with this site to leave a reply. I hope it puts your mind at ease a little and would definitely recommend ignoring any future emails or communications from these vultures and others like them. I am located in Northern Ireland and am unsure if there is a current hit in this location or if it could be UK in general.

This is freaky.....they got my customer ID correct and my full name. I ommited my full name here. But yeah.they got my full name and customer ID on quickquid.

I checked my dormant account ...never borrowed a penny from them, and the correct customer ID was there. Looks like some sort of identity theft.

Kinda worried of a security breach now.

Got the email today as well!!!

Same for lots of people when you read the other sitesn some never had a PDL ever, that's what my comment about cookies was gawd knows where your info goes and all basically with your permission.
