  • 1st Credit Help

Hi i received numerous numbers of paperwork from 1st Credit which was so called copies of my credit agreement with CitiFinancial.
The credit agreement was not a true signed copy, and didn't even state the interest rates or how much credit i had.
I then sent them a two page letter outlining that they have not compiled with the Consumer Credit Act 1974 on sending me a true signed copy of my agreement, so it is now in dispute and they have 7 days to comply with my request.

I then received a letter today stating legal proceedings are being considered. What is my next course of action.
    Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Fran

    Re: 1st Credit Help

It would help if you could remove all personal details and post up copies of the documents you have. Presumably this was a Citi credit card sold to Opus then bought by 1st Crud after defaulting on it, I also had one of those. Did you take out the card before April 2007? Those unenforceability arguments wouldn't apply to anything post-April 2007. What is the alleged balance? Was there any PPI?

1st Crud sent me a forest of letters threatening all sorts of things, that's their usual way, however, you have to be on your guard because they are rather fond of SDs.
