  • Moving on BLS and Lloyds

    Hi all
Posted a thread the other week about out of the blue letter from BLS collection and my Lloyds credit card debt i have been paying since 2010 via a self managed debt management plan
Having finally got a response from lloyds my account was passed to them in May 2010 I had no idea I was paying BLS
Lloyds have sent a new payment book and stated I should continue paying that way so who are BLS any help would be much appreciated

Re: Moving on BLS and Lloyds

Did you ever get a Notice of Assignment saying BLS now own this debt? How were you making these payments? If you've been making payments you should also be getting statements of account, you need to make sure your payments are going towards clearing your balance and not being largely swallowed up in interest and/or charges. You also need to make sure you are paying whoever owns the debt.

BLS stands for Black Lion Street and is an IN HOUSE debt collection arm of Lloyds. The letters look as if they're external but they are not. The debt has not been sold or assigned.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Of course, the fact that they are In House WON'T mean that they communicate with each other sensibly.
