There is one bailiff company who are introducing such a system, sadly not this one. Everything will then be recorded, so no dispute should occur.

I'm sure you are probably referring to my post when you ask about detecting support for a bailiff. It's important to be almost ruthlessly objective when dealing with them, as you have to deal with fact and not let personal feelings enter into the equation. Believe you me, there is probably not another person on this site who hates bailiffs and the corruption within the industry as much as I do (though some probably hate them as much). However, they exist, and I see our job as ensuring compliance with the law and guidance, and seeking appropriate redress where this hasn't been followed. So no, no support whatsoever, just objectivity - and I will be perfectly honest, I needed reminding of that last night.

Yes, there's huge variation between councils, and even individual members of staff within councils.

I agree Wales. I guess like any job you get people who are good at it, people who are bad at it and everything in between. Where bailiffs are involved you get extra difficulties thrown into the equation as they're often instructed to say things which are untrue.

              Oh yes, of course.

And the recording equipment will always work, won't it?

BTW, Blackpool Tower is not really for sale... msl:
