As you know I have had unfortunate dealings with this company and suffered like others on here.
Earlier last year my solicitor asked for a redemption figure and I queried this with BF.
As a result in July they did offer to refund some charges and associated interest. In Dec this account was finally paid off thank god!
The final statement shows the agreed charges refunded but does not show any interest refunded,
I wrote and asked why this was not on the statement but all I got back was that it has been refunded to the account!
Could someone be very kind and work out what the amount of interest should be for me.
Charges as follows:
29-6-07 £35.25
29-1-08 £35.25
18-2-08 £35.25
25-2-08 £35.25
23-2-08 £35
17-3-09 £35
Interest charged at 15.40% settlement agreed 18-7-12
I would be most grateful as I would like to write to them again because having gone through the statement it seems they have added up the figures wrong and overcharged me! surprise surprise.
