However over the next 6 years they could spend a lot of money on tracking your debt, your assets etc

I blame Equifax for adding Land Registry details to debtors files so creditors can see what you own and how much you paid for it. I complained and they argued that the information was already in the public domain. True, but why should CRAs make it easy for them :smash:

Lowell has searched my file twice and they don't even own a debt of mine

Of course they can, as they can mine. What I am saying is , your argument that it is the cost of getting a CCJ and charging order maybe flawed as there continual chasing of the debt and checking your credit file could easily add up over time to more than the costs. Even the costs are reclaimable on the CO so assuming house prices increase before you sell or die they will be quids in

They like toying with BR alot. We are seeing a large number of people getting caught by this company
Indeed, they like to make people BR as these stats show: :scared:

I wonder how these figures correlate to the amount of SD 's issued ?

i would also like to know that but I don't think it's possible to get those stats. Lowell are one of the more trigger happy when it comes to moving forward to BR petition, unlike Crapquest who used SDs just to scare the punters.
