Hi,

Has anyone been chased by these people for debt.

Did IDR Finance or Link "purchase" your debt from MBNA?

Did they go for an attachment order on your home?

Did they do all of that, up to when your received a County Court Summons, without your knowledge?

Any information you can supply would help. I intend to defend myself against them in court.

No one can get a charge on your home or an attachment of earnings (presumably this is what you were referring to) without going to court and obtaining a CCJ against you first. The only way that can happen without your knowledge is if you have moved and they serve you papers at the old address, resulting in default judgment.

Have you already received court papers from them? Or just threats so far? What's the history of your MBNA debt?
