I have a Commercial Mortgage with this shower- for over 7 years-The business is a Bar-and over the years we have had nothing but trouble with this company.
Last year the mortgage fell into arrears-this company and their solicitors Cantor Law (Who operate from the same building) took me to Court and a suspended possession order was granted- IThe arrears were paid off in full over 12 months and the monthly payment met-which has not been easy in the pub business. I went back to Court and asked for the Possession order to be cancelled-Fortunately the judge agreed with me-that it was not fair for this company to hold a loaded gun to my head. Obviously Lancashire Mortgages were not pleased-and appealed- but the judge was adamant and my possession order was withdrawn. The business is seasonal and we suffer financially in winter- subsequently the mortgage is now 2 months behind- on Wednesday this week I received a default notice-saying the arrears must be paid before 21st December- which will be OK (Hopefully) However on Thursday morning I received an email from a Relationship Manager wanting full details of me-my business etc etc-the same afternoon they sent a photographer into my business in the middle of the day? without my consent for a 'Routine Inspection'! Obviously I did not allow this to happen- but when I took this matter up with the Relationship Manager he tells me that this has happened and I quote,
Visit agents have inspected your property on several occasions, in 2006,2007,2008,2009,2011 and 2012 during the time you have had the mortgage.
Now I find this absolutely disgusting, that these people have been in my pub, taking pictures and routinely inspecting my business without my consent- I feel that my business has been undermined and that I have been spied on without my knowledge.
What can I do about it-All advice is welcome.
Thank you
