Once a month I receive an email from Mackenzie Hall confirming a payment from me. I did set up a repayment with them some time ago, but I want to cancel it now (after reading about them on here). However, there is no Direct Debit or Standing Order to them on my account. How are they taking the money and how do I stop them?

Re: Payments to Mackenzie Hall
Reply to their e-mail telling them they are no longer authorised to take any payments and to contact you by post only to discuss any outstanding debts to them.
Ask your bank to cancel any payments to MHall from your account, if their is no DD to cancel ask them how they are taking payments.
They normally take the payments by Visa from the card details provided at the time you set up the payments, if the bank cannot stop the payments then report your card lost or stolen and get issued a new card number so all payments on the old card number will be stopped.
You will have to contact anyone you pay this way that you want to continue paying but MHall will not be able to claim any payments without you giving them the new number.
