Lowell sent debt letter.
Hi asking for friend. My friend has a Debt Relief Order, this order includes a orange account. I sent email saying we dispute the debt was that ok. The point is can they chase her for this debt, mindful off the above. Thanks

The DRO lasts for 12 months only then all debts listed on it and will be free of all the debts listed on it at the end of that year. During that 12 month period none of the creditors or DCA's may not take any action against you to get their money back!Please note that this advice is given informally, without liability and without prejudice. Yep but just incase, add the following:
"Given the above i must inform you that any further contact from yourselves, other than to confirm you have closed the account and returned it to the original creditor, will be deemed as harassment in breach of the protection from harassment act 1997!"Please note that this advice is given informally, without liability and without prejudice.
