  • Mackenzie Hall - Any advice gratefully received.

    Hi all,

i would like go ask for advice on a situation I find myself in - I recently took out a small loan from Quick Quid for the value of £900. Unfortunately due to financial issues I was unable to repay the debt and it was "sold" onto Mackenzie Hall. Now I have been paying £105 per month on an arrangement with Mackenzie Hall for the last 7 months, I have never missed a repayment from day one of Mackenzie Hall taking on the debt and I now have 2 payments remaining. However I have checked my credit file and Mackenzie Hall have registered a default against me - I would like to know what my options are regarding this, are they able to register a default against me despite me not missing any repayments whilst they have had the debt? I have no recollection of a default notice from them as like previously stated I haven't missed any of my repayments with Mckenzie Hall. Quick Quid having registered a default against me and there original loan company, can MH register a default on there behalf?.. Really frustrated as I'm trying to repair my credit file/score and ensured I hadn't missed any repayments with MH and they still do this to me.

They seem a real bunch of crooks to me who are preying on people's misfortunes.

    Thanks in advance

    Sean

quick quid and muck hall, only one of those can register the default.

quick quid first, then when it is sold to muck hall, the quick quid default is replaced with the muck hall one

    end result

    just one default notice#

i would be demanding a copy of the default and termination, plus the assignment notice from quick quid

Hi - thanks for your reply,

im assuming any requests are better off done via recorded correspondence rather that telephony??

also are there any letter templates you could recommend for requesting the default notice and assignment???

      thank you

Made a few amendments to tidy it up and formalise it.
