Debt Management Tools

I've been looking for tools that will help me get on top of my financial situation.

Before creating a DMP I reckon I need a system that will help me to collect all the information needed in one place, preferable something that allows me to track everything:

• details of debt,
• OC,
• DCA,
• communications log (phone calls, visits to the house, letters),
• record of requests and outcome of each,
• record of payments,
• etc.

So I suppose I am asking:

• Are any such tools in existence already? (free to use)
• Where are they?

If nothing exists yet I am considering creating something (simple but useful/helpful).

• Aside from the wishlist (requirements) I identified above, are there any other features that would help people manage their personal dmp?
• Would any of you care to work with me to make this happen?

There would be no money in it or for it... the solution would be open source and free to use for anyone.

The best I have seen available at present for a self managed DMP is from North East Derbyshire CAB (NEDCAB). It is exceedingly good and you can see the sort of thing it does here:

I know it doesn't do everything you want, but it's by far the best I know of.
