Credit report

As you know I received letters from cap quest recently so thought it may be a good idea to get my credit report so I've been on credit expert and there is nothing at all on my report it doesn't show that I've had any credit ever or any defaults or anything! Would I needed to have provided them with all my previous addys or would they be ok with the ones they asked for any basically done it via my d.o.b also I've just applied for my one from equifax my statutory one. I think what my question is... Should I apply foray others and I'm basically confused that my other report shows no credit ever lol when I've had a phone contract etc is this because all my credit was 6 years ago any help welcomed

Rule of thumb with DCA's.
Ignore their first letter as it's simply phishing.
Should they write again throw a simple Prove It at them (template in post #4, first link in my siggie)

It's unlikely to be on only one CRA report, so I wouldn't worry too much.
Have CQ identified what the debt relates too ?

Thanks for the reply just been on another site which gives a much more accurate reading of my creit file I do have some questions it basically shows any accounts in default and says when they were put in default what does that mean exact ally but also it says closed on account status it also shows that dcas have been searching my credit file how are they allowed to do that?

Yes it does say who they were for iv just printed off the credit report with all details of when last payment was but on credit report it doesn't show on all of them just the default notice date the 3 cq are on about are all from natwest bank can a dca use my credit file to find my new addy
