    Hi all
Been going over paperwork on this account which reads like the LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY
And I have a f&f offer from a couple of DCA for half of what CAP 1 say I owe whats the best way
    forward with this one
Should I just stop wittering and not pay them at all seems to have worked so far

      Re: Surprise surprise

The main thing is to cover your own back. I'd write to them asking why they are refusing your payments - make sure you keep statements showing the refusals. Send with at minimum Proof of Postage.

I'd do this for a couple of payments, and then write saying you are putting your token payment to one side, and please contact you when they are willing to accept it.

At least that way, if it goes to court, you've proof that you have tried to pay, and you have saved the money that was intended for them. It seems to be becoming quite a common trick, even where the creditor has agreed a DMP.
