Can someone please advise what would be the best way to approach this problem with Lowells & T Mobile. I had a T-Mobile contract commencing May 2004. In November 2006 I cancelled this contract due to moving house and not being able to receive a signal. I was advised that 30 days notice was required in writing which was duly given. My phone was disconnected, so I thought all was sorted. I can remember getting a bill in after this for approx £98-00. Rang T-Mobile and was assured it would be all rectified. I then received an amended bill for £84-00 in July 2007. Rang T-Mobile upon receipt, explained all again and, was again assured this would be credited down to zero. September 2007 we moved house. Not giving the T-Mobile account a 2nd thought. Fast forward to 2012....I have recently applied for a copy of my credit report and a Default has been entered by Lowells on 10th July 2007. All it says is 'communications supplier' £84-00.
Talk about banging your head against a brick wall..........Gggrrrr
Who and what letter should I send out to in an effort to get this resolved?
I understand that mobile phone contracts differ from CCA's but would really appreciate help on who and what letters I should send to who?
The last bill I have is for £84-00 from T-Mobile dated July 2007. To which I did query and was assured everything would be rectified to show a nil balance.
I have never had any correspondence regarding this debt from Lowells. The only reason I am aware of it is due to accessing my credit file.
