Lowell Portfolio Credit File Default

Hi

I recently landed myself in trouble financially & ended up with a small debt being taken on by Lowell Portfolio. I have been paying them every month since September and the debt is nearly cleared. However, I have asked them to update my credit file so many times to at least show that I'm making payments. Everytime I call and ask they make me pay an extra payment and then they'll do it straight away but never do. Is there anyway I'm going to be able to get it removed from my account? I will be settling the account in the next few weeks but Im doubting if I will ever stand a chance of improving my credit score with that default there

Contact them and DEMAND a statement of your account from them. NEVER make extra payments to their threat monkeys

Tactfully point to out to the threat monkeys that their actions are putting their company's licence at risk. Download an up to date copy of OFT Debt Collection Guidelines from the OFT website. If my memory serves me correctly, there is something in them about this sort of thing.
