  • removing a default

    Hi all

At the end of this month I have a default on my credit file that will have been on for 6 years, and I believe I can get it removed.

Could anyone give me advice on how to remove it? also, how long does it normally take?

    Cheers

    Re: removing a default

It should just fall off within a few days of the 6 years being up. Check your CRF maybe a week after, and if it hasn't gone, contact the CRA.

Make your it is six years from the date of default.
