  • Link Financial - cheats, swindlers and liars

I have a repayment agreement with Link financial, which was only secured after many months of them deliberately ignoring my letters, budget statement and payment proposal, sent to them repeatedly via recorded delivery, by the intervention of the FOS.

Then, a few adays ago, to my utter disbelief, these crooks sent me a letter, which, spuriously, claims that, somehow, through miraculous means known only to these charlatans, my "...financial situation has improved..." How so ? I remain unemployed and in receipt of JSA. How the bloody hell does that constitute an improvement ?

Needless to say, these swindlers then threaten recovery action if I don't contact them.

Well, these cheats, swindlers and liars have picked on the wrong person - I'm going to report them for attempted fraud and trying to gain monies by menaces.

I would seriously encourage anyone else out there being bullied by these thieves to do likewise - report these crooks to the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and your local Trading Standards as well as the FOS.

It's about time government came down like a ton of bricks on Link Financial and all of these rotten DCAs - they're absolutely rotten to the core.

Link Financial - you can take your letter, shove it up your arse and sit and
    swivel !

They have no idea if your financial situation has improved or not - some goon just pressed a button on their computer system and it will have fired the letter off automatically.
The trouble with DCA's these days is that the left arm does not know what the right arm is doing anymore.
Simply ignore the clowns and report them to all the usual authorities if they keep pestering you.

If they are taking you to court, you can counterclaim for harrassment, as well as defending their claim on any other grounds.

If they are being a right pain in the proverbial, you can sue them for harrasment, including getting an urgent injunction to stop this conduct.

If you are on JSA you are exempt from court fees and need to complete form EX160, if the JSA is income-based rather than contribution based this benefit is 'passporting' whcih means you only need to provide proof of the benefit you have been awarded rather than any further income and expenditure details.
