  • lpf and Link Financial are idiots

Received a letter from lpf last month saying Littlewoods Barclaycard cleared in full and account closed. Signed by Customer Services Manager, Christian O'Brien.

You're guessed it, received a letter yesterday demanding payment of arrears from lpf's Paul McWeeney !

Paid Link Financial bill last month. Confirmed in 'phone call to them. Demand sent yesterday for payment of payment made ! Written today to Paul Burdell, Link Financial CEO.

Clearly these people don't communicate with each other and update their computer database.

I'm sick and tired of havin to write to them to tell them the same thing over and over again. It's costing time and money. They're idiots !

Send them a schedule of your charges, such as £35 per letter sent in response to them, £30 per email response, £10 per month late payment fee, and so on. Tell them, in a covering letter, that the account has been settled and that further correspondence will incur charges as detailed in the enclosed schedule. Also tell them that any further correspondence from them will constitute acceptance of those terms and of the schedule of charges, and will further constitute a desire to enter into a binding contract with you.

When they write to you again, respond with an invoice.

One will wait with craned neck to read the purported response from Mr. Paul Burdell.tortghost
