I suppose they would get better results than what their male counterparts in the debt collection industry do.
The males are by their very nature full of aggression.
The females by their very nature are less like that.
In saying that though some of the best "arguments" i've had over the phone with DCA's have been with females - the male threat monkeys just grunt/beat their chests at you etc..were as the female puts alot more thought/intelligence into their demands/threats and that makes it all the more fun for me personally!

LOL though I'll quote an arguement I had with a female DCA from Capquest trying to collect on a disputed utility bill which was SB. Went something like this:

Miss DCA: You owe £xxx to eOn and need to make a payment today
Me: I don't acknowledge this debt and anyway its SB so you're not getting a penny
Miss DCA: No it isn't
Me: Oh yes it is
Miss DCA: No it isn't
Me: Oh yes it is
Miss DCA: No it isn't we will recover this
Me: Oh yes it is and you won't recover a penny
Miss DCA: We'll take this to court
Me: Oh no you won't
Miss DCA: Yes, we will
Me: Oh no you won't Judy

Never heard from them again!

In all seriousness though - i cant help but feel that these 2 are simply wasting their time/effort & money on an industry that no one is afraid of anymore.

That might be the case for those of us who have found forums such as this Mr T.

Unfortunately there are still many many people out there who are under the stigma of debt and easy prey to the threats and bullying that these firms subject them to.

There is still a huge amount of ignorance amongst consumers as to how these companies should conduct themselves and the actual legal they can take (i.e. none to minimal) which DCA's exploit to the full.

If there was no profit there would be no 'debt industry'.

I should have, somewhere, a letter from the "Executive Office" of eOn plc in which the authoress averred that energy companies were not bound by the Limitation Act 1980.

It is, of course, utter nonsense.
