I have recieved a letter from bryan carter today about a warrant of execution saying the baliff will attend etc and to call immediately to make payment to prevent baliffs coming to my house.Can they actually carry this out...

Hi Yummum5 I am a fellow newbie and I am sure someone with better knowledge will be along very soon.

However from my knowledge it sounds very much like a scare tactic and the power of bailiffs is not what you probably think and the pretty much prey on those without the knowledge to defend themselves. Have a look at the bailiff section on the site. In the mean time keep your chin up and don't worry there are always solutions

Bryan carter warrant of execution

Ive recieved a letter from bryan carter today saying My account has now been referred for a issue of execution with a warrant no...It goes onto say payment can be made by debit cards and if unable to make payment in full they may be able to agree an instalment plan etc....Then says i must call immediately with payment to avoid baliffs calling at my door.Now i sent off a letter yesterday with reguards from a previous letter i recieved offering instalments,but this has been sent out before.What will happen now in reguards to this warrant letter...

I cant remember recieving anything saying so......Been in contact with bryan carter over a while now and was actually paying instalments till a direct debit failed then they cancelled payments then didnt hear anything for a while....Then recently got a letter saying to arrange a payment or they would take action with reguards to baliffs,so i sent a letter offering a payment plan but tis letter was obviousl sent out as they wouldnt of recieved my offer yet.....

Well if this hasn't been to court AND a judgement awarded AGAINST you then they will NOT be sending bailiffs round for anything !!

Do you know EXACTLY what this matter relates to ??

Has Mr C ever proven his lawful rights to make these demands or are you operating under the great British reserve and paying it as you know it's due ??

More to the point, when does Barmpot Carter claim that judgement was given in the case?

If a bailiff does turn up, do not let him in, regardless of what he might say.

If you have a video camera, film him from an upstairs window; if you only have a mobile phone, at least record what he says.
