  • Hello all, I'm here to do battle with Blemain

I'd welcome any input or any help as to how to bring the problems with this company to public notice and try to recoup the unfair charges they add to our accounts.

I just wish I'd seen this site before I decided to get involved with them.:tinysmile_aha_t:
Please feel free to get in touch and share any experiences you've had with them.

Re: Hello all, I'm here to do battle with Blemain

Wow!! sorry if I appear a tad cynical, but one post on a web-site and I get a reply when I've had none from any of my letters or e-mails to you guys at Blemain over the last 3 years?
Can I just check that phone number with you, 'cos the ones I've been given in the past have been 0844 499 0761, and 0800 954 2091?
I've phoned many times only to be assured it will be dealt with, and everytime it is a different person who claims there is no record of my previous calls.
I'd like the name of ONE person to contact and I'd like my concerns to be dealt with fully by ONE person please.
I trust this is not too much to ask?
        Thanks
        Lindy

Try a reverse number search and see what it comes up with.

Are this shower based in Manchester?

Yes they are, although initially I didn't know my loan was coming from them. I was contacted by "Clearstart" who then passed me over to DFD mortgages (based in Adlington, Preston) debtfreedirect.co.uk ....they would appear to be brokers and used Blemain to finance my loan.
DFD are FSA regulated, but nothing on Blemain's paperwork to that effect.
In my agreement with Blemain it says they are a member of the CCTA, but I have noticed that the licence number on my agreement seems to be a different one to some other people's who have had problems with them.

p.s. is any-one else wondering if the Blemain post is actually a genuine post from the company?

Thanks angry cat! Look at this!!!

"Debt Free Direct is the most widely recognised player in the debt solutions industry, and the clear leader in the IVA market. Its proprietary 'Best Advice Model' is used to source the most appropriate solution for an indebted individual's complex financial situation. Debt Free Direct employs over 350 staff in its main premises in Lancashire. "

                  "Best advice model"??

                  "Most appropriate solution"?? Blemain?????!!!!!!

Clearstart claimed to be working on behalf of the government to help the public reduce their debt burdon and they contacted ME, presumably after checking out my credit records???

                  This is disgusting.

I have a financial advisor looking at the charges on my agreement at the moment. Even he cannot understand why there is an interest charge of£29,000, plus a loan charge of £30,000 applied on a £14,000 loan. I had thought the loan charge was the total amount, but it now seems it may not be. I have a broker fee of £700 and an acceptance fee of £300, a tilte fee of £150 plus the numerous charges for insurance and administration fees and apparently these do not get added onto the loan amount they probably have to be paid up-front in addition to the monthly loan payment, but there is nowhere in any paperwork which makes that clear.

I have edited the Blemain Finace posts on this thread ( and any other posts that have quoted those Blemain posts ) to remove the contact details offered by Blemain.

I strongly urge the OP not to call the provided telephone number or communicate via the provided email address as this may make your personal identity known to Blemain.

Please only contact Blemain via their general switchboard number which you may find included on general correspondence you have received from them.
