  • My first letter from Capquest!

Just thought I would notch this up so to speak!

Nothing to be proud of but I got my first 'official' letter from Capquest today for one of my debts. As I haven't had the 'pleasure' of dealing with this delightful crowd yet, but having heard so much about them, I just felt I had to post this as a landmark event!

Usual threats of 'this won't go away' 'pay immediately or we may pass you to pre-court' etc etc.

One standard Crispy DMP letter coming up!

I got £50 compensation off CrapQuest recently.

Find an excuse - any excuse will do - to complain to them. They will then dick around and do diddly sqwat about that grievance. Then complain to the FOS. Then go out and enjoy spending THEIR £50, just like I did

    A big "Hi" to CrapQuest!

      LOL I really like that.

I like to give DCAs the rope they need to hang themselves, and have learned to keep all the communication they send me now.

I'm already considering taking Lowells to task (keep sending personal information to an incorrect address despite being told twice now it is incorrect) so if I can start getting compensation off these idiots they will end up owing me money!!

ABSOLUTELY bro. Just kick off a complaint to Lowlifes and then when you get the anticipated fob off go to the FOS. The FOS will not uphold your compalint but they will then rather bizarrely offer you £50 or so just to go away. The way I look at is the FOS know that DCAs are scum and bottom feeding lowlifes. They also know that they operate within legally accepted parameters (I do not say acceptable or morally justified parameters, which they clearly are not).

(Cheers CrapQuest, I enjoyed spending every penny of your money. Keep in touch now!)

Well there is a guy in the States who actually makes a good living from the compensation claims he makes on debt collectors. It was widely reported around the forums a few months ago.

CapQuest, do appear to be concerned about compliance...
