  • Got ccj but original creditor went in to adminstration!!!

    Hi All
Can anyone tell me the correct procedure what should happen if you have a CCJ ( Payments up to date) but the OC goes into administration.

Can it just be sold on to a DCA via an absolute assignment from the DCA without the need for the Court to get involved ( any laws appertaining to this would be useful )

    Thoughts please.

This debt was sold in November 01, but OC I believe went into admin June 02?

Also I had no knowledge about the first sale assignment nor DID I receive a copy of the absolute assignment from either the OC, their Solicitor, or the DCA and THEN it was sold on to a second DCA which I DID receive a copy of the absolute assignment, but even then the date of the letter sent informing me of this was one year later after the absolute assignment had actually taken place!!!!
