As a director of a company I signed a personal guarantee (PG) and the company has gone into voluntary liquidation. I have received a County Court Summons in respect of the PG. On looking closer I find the PG was actually made out to an enitity that does not actually exist. The name on the PG whilst close to the actual creditor company name is different. Does this constitute a bonafide defence against the summons?
