hello,we took out a £10000 loan secured with blemain 4 years ago,self employed,missed a few payments always caught up,have repaid £6000 and now owe them over £17000 !!!,they will not help with the interest charged and will not help in any other way.
now this debt is becoming uncontrollable and will mount to £20k plus soon,how on earth can this be justified.

Just wondering if you had any mis sold PPI on this loan, you being self employed?

hi,thanks,no ppi insurance was taken out with the loan.
it was offered but was costly and would not be available for self employed status.

also, we have main morgage with cheshire morgage corporation,neither of them over the past four or so years have changed the interest rate to the accounts,yet they are not fixed rates morgages,surely when the rates change shouldnt it reflect in the repayments if they are variable rate loans?
i have asked them about this,they replied that they werent regulated so dont have to pass on any changes in the rate changes,effectively,they are saying as far a i am concerned,that they must then be fixed rate loans!!!.

Be wary Keegle it is a variable rate as stated on their contracts so although will never reduce can be increased at their will.
