  • welcome finance

Hello everyone I'm new here and wondered if anyone could advise me. My partner and i took out a joint loan with Welcome finance in 2008 and until now have paid all the payments. He has now been made redundant and we are now in arrears by 2 months. We don't have insurance. he was working full time and I was a casual worker. When we were at the CAB last week they noticed that in the agreement from Welcome they had written down that I was a permanent employer. I hadn't told them that and on the payslips which I had to send them it clearly states I was a casual worker. Does this mean that the loan was mis-sold to us and can I do anything about it if it was? Thank you in advance for any help. BTW it is a secured loan.

I doubt that the fact they assumed you were in permie employment will make any difference aas it will likely have been to your benefit when they did the calcs.
